Character: White powder or crystalline powder, stable. Soluble in ethanol, acetone and benzene, slightly soluble in water; 4-Chlorophenoxyacetic acid sodium salt is soluble in water.
 
Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 in rats: 2200 mg/kg. Acute percutaneous LD50: > 2200 mg/kg.
Have a stimulating effect to eyes and skin.
